Hi, my name is Quin, it all began with the family dog. Let me explain: when I was a wee tot, I trundled after our German Shepard into a trackless forest and was soon left behind. At that moment I realized how important it is to be prepared, know your landscape and be able to find your way. A lifelong fascination with maps was begun. From Geography student to grad student to GIS analyst, maps have continued to guide my way. In the Data Resource Centre I solve problems, find solutions, teach skills, locate data, stay calm, inject fun, and bring baking.
