The Great Canadian Theatre Company, located in Ottawa, Ontario, was founded by members of the student population at Carleton University as well as several Professors, in 1975. Originally, performances took place at the University itself and later moved into a renovated fire hall. Their mandate is to create and produce new Canadian works.

In this collection, there are financial records, scripts, newsletters, production files, administration files, programs, posters, reviews, publicity materials and photographs.
