Collection of correspondence, articles, typescripts, diaries, publications and transcriptions of children’s author Jean Little. 

Jean Little was born in Taiwan, 1932.  She has been partially blind since birth.  The family came to Canada in 1939 and moving to Guelph in 1940. 

Jean is a graduate of University of Toronto with Honours Degree in English.  She taught children with special needs until 1962.  Jean has taught Children’s Literature at the University of Guelph, where she is now an Adjunct Professor.

She has won the Order of Canada and was presented with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal.
