Collection of correspondence, financial records, diaries, photographs, clippings related to Elora families - Marston, Archibald, Snyder, Anderson, Mills, Godfrey and Cole.

Rev. John Mills lived in Elora, was a circuit minister around the Elora area, and retired in Guelph. Olive Snyder had written several volumes of verse and had a number of poems published. Katharine Archibald married Errol Marston. He died early and she became owner and editor of the Elora Express, and ran it for many years. The Cole family married into the Godfrey family. The Archibalds came from Dickinson's Landing in the St. Lawrence River-Prescott area and moved to various places: Elora, Clinton, Hamilton, and started the Dundas Roller Mills. The Traders Bank was owned by one of the Archibalds.
