Family papers including correspondence, legal documents, business and genealogical records of William Fasken and Margaret Mitchell, Scottish emigrants to Nichol Township, Wellington County, 1784-1887. Also includes photocopies of each item; a photocopy of an article on the Fasken Family Collection written by Carol Goodger-Hill published in Collection Update, no. 9 (1986), p. 21-25; photocopy of an "Account of a voyage from Aberdeen to Quebec by William Fasken, 1837 in Appendix 3 of "From Aberdeen to Ottawa in 1845: the diary of Alexander Muir" edited by George A. MacKenzie. A coloured photograph of Helen Fasken received with the Marston-Archibald Collection is included.
