To celebrate Pride Month, the library has a variety of digital Pride displays ready for you to explore. They include:

  • We Are Everywhere – this display focuses on diversity and intersectionality within the 2SLTGBTQIA+ community, with fiction, histories, and memoirs examining the ways in which many facets of our identities impact our lived experiences.
  • Representation Matters – this display focuses on books and movies with positive portrayals of LGBTQ2IA+ lives, characters, and experiences.
  • Queer Bodies – this display recognizes queerness as it is enacted through the body. Queer bodies are counter normative; they are trans bodies, fat bodies, disabled bodies; they are bodies that are politicized by virtue of existing. The Queer Bodies collection promotes books, comics, and films by or about those who have their queerness written on the body.
  • Winter Pride 2024 – celebrate LGBTQ2IA+ identities and history through this digital display created by OUTline, U of G’s resource and support service for LGBTQ2IA+ students.
