Starting Monday, May 6, 2024, you’ll notice increased activity in the building as we begin our summer renovation projects. Projects will be happening between May 6 and August 31, 2024. 

The fifth-floor washroom upgrade renovations are beginning first. Here’s what you can expect: 

  • Additional noise and vibration periodically throughout the building. 
  • All stairwells will be accessible. 
  • Access to both washrooms will be blocked off by construction hoarding. 
  • The east facing study carrels will be inaccessible for the duration of the summer. 
  • Study tables on the north side of the fifth-floor, facing Johnston Green will be accessible. 
  • The stacks will be accessible. 

What you can expect to experience when the renovations are complete: 

  • New tile floors and walls 
  • New counters 
  • New sinks 
  • New ceilings 
  • New lighting
