Rationale

The Food & Drink Policy is designed to provide a litter-free environment by encouraging recycling and appropriate waste management and housekeeping measures.

The Policy

Food & Beverages

Food and beverages can be consumed in all public and study locations except in Archival & Special Collections. Deliveries of food are not permitted except for authorized meetings, conference workshops, etc. Please report spills to the Ask Us Desk.

Recycling

Do your part. Please deposit your waste and recycling into the designated containers throughout the library.

Cooperation

Please exercise care when consuming food or beverages in accordance with the University of Guelph's Sustainability Office's guidelines.
