We provide one-on-one appointments and instructional support for finding information for an assignment, literature review, knowledge synthesis or other research project. We can help with areas such as narrowing a research topic; understanding different types of sources; choosing search tools; creating effective searches; and using the reference manager Zotero.

For consultations requested by undergraduate or graduate research assistants, the Library requires that the student's supervisor attend the initial consultation. Having the supervisor in attendance helps clarify expectations for the research and assists all parties during the consultation.

We will respond to you within two business days. All library appointments are free of charge and confidential. We reserve the right to limit the number of consultations provided per project.
